Fan art is defined as a type of artwork that is based on a person or item that the artist did not create. Fan art can revolve around books, movies, shows, comics and more. Some people do creative art of studd they wish would have happened and others strictly reproduce images or scenes that have already happened and put their own unique spin on it. One of the most popular these days is Harry Potter fan art.
With the recent announcement of the new film series Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them a ton of fan made movie posters for the upcoming films have made their way around the internet.
Their is such a wide variety of fan art swirling around the world wide web that it is impossible to just like one or tell you that the ones I display are the only good ones. I believe that all fan art is amazing because of the creativity needed to think it, the skills to do it, and the courage to post it.
The best way to find fan art is to search websites like Tumblr, Pinterest, Facebook and Google.
Fan-Fiction
Fanfcition or fanfic, is defined as fiction written by people who enjoy a film, novel, television show or other media work, using the characters and situations developed in it and developing new plots in which to use these characters.
These days Potterheads use fanfiction as their main source of new and exciting adventures of the characters from the Harry Potter series. This is due to the fact that we have not recieved any new material form the author in three years.
Some fanfiction writers will take requests and write what they call "head cannons" or a story about a couple, whether it is a couple from the series, a couple people wish was in the series or a regular person like me and a character from the series. My favorite is 'Dramione' (Draco and Hermione or 'Harmoine' (Harry and Hermione).
